Combat Grifter Big Barrel Senior League Baseball Bat
A new introduction from Combat for the 2012 season, the Grifter Big Barrel features the USSSA 1.15 stamp and is legal for use in 2012. Modeled after the tremendous success of the Grifter youth baseball bat, Combat now introduces their first hybrid bat design to the senior league lineup.
The Grifter was designed using several innovative and new technologies, as Combat continues to prove that they are experts at more than just composite bats. The big barrel of the Grifter is made from Titanium Enhanced Alloy, which gives this bat a very solid feel and serious durability. In addition, Gear Inside Technology has created a unique geometry inside the barrel that consists of elongated grooves. These grooves result in a softer feel, greater performance, and a gigantic sweetspot.
The handle of the Grifter senior league bat uses Combat's new Mongrel Composite Construction which removes the whip feeling in traditional two-piece bats, resulting in one-piece performance. This design delivers more power at the plate, while still giving contact hitters that much desired flex.
The Grifter also features Combat's top secret Resonance Proof Taper. When combined with Gear Technology, this taper provides for true ZERO sting and vibration to the players hands.
This bat is designed for players between 13 and 15 years of age as well
as younger players whose leagues allow bat diameters larger than 2 ¼
